We're excited to introduce three new and improved integrations for Squarespace. Whether you're a photographer looking to get your work shared socially, a musician who wants more options to showcase their songs, or a small business that needs to highlight their work through a video – these are features anyone can use.
Pinterest “Pin It” Integration – You can now enable ‘pinning’ for any image on your Squarespace website. The “Pin It” button will show up on the top corner of your image when you hover your mouse over it. There are two styles, two sizes, and multiple colors so you can easily personalize the buttons. To enable the integration, click “Share Buttons” in your Settings Area and select the Pinterest icon. The styling options appear on the bottom. You can also customize the "Pin It" button to work on your blog pages only, or across all blogs and pages on your site.
Simplified SoundCloud Embed – Share an individual track or even a full album on any page or blog post using the new SoundCloud Block. To add your SoundCloud track or set, click the + button on your page or blog post draft, then scroll down to select the SoundCloud Block, listed under Social Blocks.
Animoto Embed Support – You can now embed Animoto videos on your Squarespace website. Animoto makes it easy for small business owners and photographers to create quality videos using their logo, pictures, and video clips within minutes. Realtors, wedding photographers, and educators enjoy using Animoto to showcase their work. To add an Animoto video to a page or blog post, simply add a Video Block and paste the URL of your clip. Animoto is offering Squarespace customers 20% off annual pro subscriptions through March 31st.
