We’re thrilled to announce that Squarespace Commerce is now available to all Squarespace customers.
When we launched Squarespace Commerce a year ago, we introduced a truly integrated solution that makes it easy for anyone to create a beautiful online store. Since then, we’ve added features for merchants of all sizes, including service products, USPS real-time shipping estimates, discount codes, tax rule engine improvements, and seamless integrations with ShipStation and Xero. All of these features – with unlimited SKUs – are still available in our Business plan.
We’ve learned a lot from our customers. Many asked for the Donations Block to be available in all plans. It turns out that in addition to non-profits, a number of customers were using the Donations Block for cash wedding registries and local school events. Even bloggers wanted the ability to sell an item, like a branded t-shirt, without having to upgrade their plan. That’s why we’ve added the ability to accept donations or cash gifts, as well as sell a single item, to our new Personal plan, which starts at just $8 per month.
We’ve heard from bands and restaurants, too. Their primary focus isn’t on selling merchandise, but they wanted a plan that let them easily sell a handful of products on their website, alongside their tour dates or online reservations. For those folks who have basic e-commerce needs without integrations, we’ve created our new Professional plan – with the ability to sell up to 20 products – starting at $16 per month.
